Construction of Kenh Vang bridge connecting Bac Ninh and Hai Duong

Provincial People’s Council issued Resolution No. 366/NQ-HDND approving the investment policy of the project of building Kenh Vang bridge and the road leading to the two headbridges, connecting the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Hai Duong.

Accordingly, the project is invested by the Bac Ninh Project Management Board of Traffic Construction with a total budget of nearly VND 1,600 billion.

The project consists of the main item of investment in the construction of Kenh Vang bridge and the road leading to the two headbridges with a length of about 13.4km, among which, the starting point is at Km0+00 intersecting with National Highway 17 at Km27+600 in Gia Binh district; the end point is at Km13+400 intersecting with National Highway 37 at Km77+400 in Hai Duong province.

The part of Kenh Vang bridge has a length of about 740m, with an expected width of 23.5m and designed on a permanent scale; the road section at both headbridges has a length of 12.6km and a road surface of 15m wide.

The project’s implementation period is from 2022 to 2025.
