According to the Hai Duong Industrial Zones Authority, since the beginning of the year, the industrial zones in the province have attracted $889.16 million in foreign direct investment (FDI), nearly 4.5 times above the annual plan.
The Hai Duong Industrial Zones Authority has granted investment registration certificates for 45 new FDI projects with a total investment capital of $771.39 million. Additionally, the investment capital for 26 FDI projects has been increased by a total additional sum of $117.77 million.

Some industrial zones that have drawn a significant number of new FDI projects include the expanded Dai An, An Phat 1, Luong Dien – Cam Dien, and Lai Cach. To date, the industrial zones in the province have attracted 278 secondary FDI projects from 23 countries and territories with a total registered investment capital of about $5.87 billion.
Recently, the Hai Duong Industrial Zones Authority has actively shortened administrative procedures. The investment licensing process for new projects has been reduced to 5 – 10 days instead of the standard 15 days; 100% of administrative procedures are resolved on time. The Board also regularly coordinates with various departments, committees, and sectors to directly address difficulties and obstacles for investors.
